Nikki M. Parness (Snyder)

CFP®   |   CPA   |   MBA

Like her father Larry, Nikki knows a thing or two about thinking creatively inside and outside the box.  It is a wise approach when the goal is helping clients meet (and exceed) their financial goals. Like her father, Nikki takes a holistic approach with her clients, working with them to devise individualized solutions that take each one's unique financial situation into consideration; then making recommendations that are appropriate for their specific financial needs and goals.  Nikki views accounting, financial planning, tax and wealth management as individual parts of a single integrated solution.  This is different from a more traditional approach that treats them each as separate disciplines and needs.

Prior to joining the firm, Nikki worked for five years at Fidelity Investments, where she was a Senior Analyst specializing in working with private clients.  Before joining Fidelity, Nikki spent three years in the public sector working with the City of Eugene in Oregon to develop a balanced budget. Nikki also spent a year volunteering with AmeriCorps VISTA, where she trained low income individuals to develop skills in finance and micro-enterprise development to help them move out of poverty and into self-sufficiency.

Credentials & Professional Development

NIkki received her B.A. in Economics from Boston University, and her MBA from the Elkin B. McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley College.   Nikki is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner ™ professional.  This certification is granted to financial planning professionals by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.  Recipients must hold an MBA and be may be a Certified Public Account candidate.  CFP® recipients are recognized for their high level of excellence, competence, and ethical standards in the practice of personal financial planning.

Personal Pursuits

Actively involved in the small business community in Rhode Island, Nikki has been a guest lecturer at the Center for Women & Enterprise in Providence, RI, where she's helped hundreds of entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground, providing them with sound advice and information on tax planning and bookkeeping systems for small businesses. Nikki has been married to her husband Michael Snyder since 2009, and they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Abigail and Grace. When not in the office, Nikki's days are filled with family time at the beach, on the softball and soccer field, or at the dance studio. She is known to have something of a sweet (and salty) tooth, and cannot pass a lemonade or a Girl Scout Cookie stand without buying a treat.  And when she's not talking about local politics or teaching financial planning and business development classes for local entrepreneurs and small businesses, you can probably find her chatting with her girls about their favorite new Roblox game or female athlete role-model.
